By Allen Marquette, PWSSC
Meet at the Science Center.
Meet at the Science Center on Saturday morning for a hike to the Forest Service cabin on upper Power Creek. We will be passing through a locked gate and drive to the upper Power Creek access point for the hydroelectric plant. From there it is a 2.5 mile hike to the cabin. The hike should take about 4 to 5 hours. Since this is listed as a moderately difficult hike, small children should not try this hike. Please leave pets at home.
The fall colors should be great this time of year but mud boots are needed. There will be 10 seats available on the van. Contact Allen for more information 424-5800 ext 237
